Web 2.0 @ CML

I'm starting this blog for a work based project but will probably add some personal info at some point. I'm getting ready to finish up my MLIS degree in the Fall and web 2.0/library 2.0 has been a major talking point. My last class required us to use some the same web 2.0 features we will be experiencing in Learn and Play @CML. The only thing I didn't enjoy was twitter. I'm too busy doing whatever I'm doing to write about it!

that's what I'm not looking forward to with this Learn and Play- twitter totally creeps me out!

I thought the same thing about Twitter until I found a Firefox add-on called Twitterfox that just sits at the bottom of your browser. Suddenly it's really easy to use Twitter... and fascinating to see what everyone else is doing!

I had a typo!!! Someone must tell me things please...I have the attention span of a gnat and don't proofread. Just figured out I had comments today. I'll have to investigate that Twitterfox Cycholibrarian. Hmmm who could you be??? :-). I am extraordinarily curious about what people are up to!

Are you a Jane Austen fan or does it mean something else?

Just a huge Jane Austen fan! No hidden meaning at all.

I love Jane Austen, too!

I'm reading all of Jane Austen's books, again, this year. Right now I'm on Pride and Prejudice.
